Role Summary:
Stanbic Bank Uganda is seeking a User Interface Designer to support the delivery of intuitive and user-centered digital experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate with product and experience design teams to create interface designs, prototypes, and customer journeys that align with business objectives and Standard Bank Group design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design user interfaces based on business and product requirements.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interface concepts for digital products.

• Ensure UI designs comply with Standard Bank Group design standards and methodologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric digital solutions.

• Conduct user research and analyze customer journeys to improve digital experiences.

• Gather and validate requirements through design thinking and design sprints.

• Maintain consistency across digital products using established design systems.

• Monitor industry trends and continuously improve design practices.

• Contribute to enhancing customer adoption through effective interface design.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Studies or a related field.

• 3–4 years' experience in UI/UX design or software design.

• Experience with design thinking, prototyping, and user-centered design methodologies.

• Ability to create design concepts and interactive prototypes for digital products.
