He co-founded Cellulant in 2003 and served as Group CEO, transforming the company from a mobile content business into a pan-African payments infrastructure operating across 35 markets, serving 62 banks and 400 corporates.

He has led major digital transformation projects, including Nigeria’s government e-wallet platform, which enrolled 17 million farmers, and Ecobank’s digital platform across 35 markets. Today, Ken focuses on financing and supporting the next generation of African entrepreneurs and fintech businesses.

Uganda’s fintech sector keeps growing. More companies are building solutions, more people are using digital financial services, and fintechs, banks, regulators, investors and development partners are working more closely together. The challenge now is turning that growth into businesses that can scale, compete and last. That challenge is the focus of the 8th FITSPA Annual Fintech Conference, themed “Scaling Fintech Innovation for Inclusive Growth and a Resilient Digital Economy.” Over two days, participants will discuss capital, regulation, infrastructure, interoperability, emerging technologies, trust, talent and expansion into other African markets.
