Stanbic Bank Uganda is seeking an Officer, Support Bancassurance to provide administrative and operational support for its Bancassurance business. The successful candidate will support insurance sales, claims processing, customer service, and policy administration while ensuring excellent service delivery to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support for Bancassurance products and operations.

• Assess and process insurance claims within the prescribed turnaround times.

• Interpret insurance policy terms and explain them clearly to customers.

• Guide customers on claims documentation and requirements.

• Handle customer inquiries and correspondence with insurers.

• Support Bancassurance Sales Consultants in achieving sales targets.

• Participate in branch and sales team visits (physical or virtual).

• Process policy amendments and provide timely updates on customer requests.

• Maintain strong working relationships with branches, underwriters, and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of branch consulting or banking operations experience.

• Knowledge of at least three insurance products.

• Strong customer service, communication, and administrative skills.

• Good understanding of insurance principles, claims management, and banking products.

• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain high service standards.
