Role Summary:
Finance Trust Bank is seeking a Manager Business Planning and Analysis to lead budgeting, financial planning, management reporting, and business performance analysis. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making, cost optimization, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management reports, including balance sheet and profit & loss analysis, budget variance analysis, trend analysis, and ratio analysis.

• Prepare monthly Board Finance reports.

• Analyze key financial and business performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.

• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems.

• Conduct product costing and pricing analysis to improve profitability.

• Carry out project evaluation and appraisal.

• Ensure revenue assurance by identifying and preventing revenue leakages.

• Participate in the preparation of the Bank's strategic business plan.

• Coordinate the preparation of annual operational and capital budgets.

• Monitor and control budget implementation and expenditure.

• Prepare branch and consolidated budget variance reports.

• Produce monthly branch performance reports.

• Coordinate periodic budget reviews for management and the Board.

• Monitor operating costs and promote cost-efficiency across the Bank.

• Authorize transactions within the core banking system.

• Provide backup authorization for RTGS transactions.

• Supervise Senior Accountants and Accountants.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting) or a related field.

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a reputable organization.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

• High level of integrity and professionalism.
