Job Summary:
Roke Telecom is seeking Field IT Engineers to provide professional onsite installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of customer IT and network infrastructure. The role focuses on reliable service delivery, timely resolution of technical faults and providing an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure routers, switches, access points and customer-premise equipment.

• Support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity solutions.

• Support fibre, radio and internet connectivity services.

• Conduct customer site surveys.

• Carry out installations, testing and customer handovers.

• Diagnose and resolve network, hardware and connectivity incidents.

• Resolve technical faults within agreed SLA timelines.

• Maintain accurate support tickets and configuration records.

• Prepare and maintain field service reports.

• Provide professional onsite technical support to customers.

• Ensure installed IT and network infrastructure operates reliably.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Information Technology

  • Computer Science

  • Telecommunications

  • Network Engineering

  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering

  • Related field

• 1–3 years of relevant IT support, networking or field engineering experience.

• Good knowledge of:

  • TCP/IP

  • Routing & Switching

  • Wireless Networks

  • Endpoint Support

• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.

• Ability to work onsite and in the field.

• Good customer-service and communication skills.
