Absa Bank Uganda is seeking an Enterprise Banker to drive business growth by acquiring new customers, deepening relationships with existing clients, and delivering tailored banking solutions to SMEs. The role combines sales, relationship management, customer service, credit origination, and operational compliance to support the bank's business banking objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire new Enterprise Banking customers and grow existing client portfolios.

• Promote and sell business banking products and services to meet and exceed sales targets.

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.

• Generate and follow up on sales leads through branch visits, client meetings, and telephone engagement.

• Prepare and submit SME credit applications in line with Absa lending guidelines.

• Conduct financial analysis and assess customers' loan eligibility.

• Build strong relationships with customers and branch teams to increase referrals and business opportunities.

• Resolve customer queries related to account opening, loans, and banking services.

• Support branch operations, including cash management and transaction authorization when required.

• Ensure compliance with KYC, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and internal operational policies.

• Maintain high standards of operational accuracy and contribute to positive audit outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, Management Studies, or a related field.

• Strong sales, relationship management, and customer service skills.

• Knowledge of SME banking products, lending processes, and financial analysis.

• Understanding of KYC, AML, and banking regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively while achieving individual performance targets.
