Job Summary

The Engineer – Big Data Operations will ensure continuous operation and maintenance of IT Enterprise Applications, providing uninterrupted, high-quality service. The role is responsible for data management, system monitoring, incident resolution, and support for internal and external stakeholders while maintaining compliance with data privacy policies.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure continuous operation and maintenance of IT Enterprise Applications.
Backup and restore data as per company policy.
Ensure data completeness and integrity in the Data Lake.
Service data requests in line with company data privacy policies.
Execute primary control checks for data completeness and quality.
Support secondary and tertiary controls and track closure with relevant teams.
Coordinate with multiple teams and vendors to ensure data streams function correctly.
Deliver business KPIs on time within SLAs.
Resolve incidents and work orders surrounding the Data Lake.
Support Business Analysts with queries or changes on EVA.
Proactively monitor EVA and EMM to ensure high uptime.
Reprocess and re-push CDRs, EDRs, and logs from Archive-server to downstream systems.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development, IT operations, or enterprise application maintenance.
Experience in UNIX shell scripting and database programming.
