The United Nations Regional Service Centre Entebbe (UNRSCE) is seeking a Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Intern to support business intelligence, reporting, knowledge management, and data analytics initiatives. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting within the United Nations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support operational and strategic decision-making.

• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

• Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.

• Prepare documentation, user guides, procedures, and knowledge management resources.

• Assist in preparing management reports, presentations, and business communication materials using Microsoft 365.

• Monitor data quality and support information management activities.

• Provide end-user support by troubleshooting reporting and business intelligence tools.

• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Be enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field.

• No prior work experience is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages is an added advantage.

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other data visualization tools is desirable.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational skills.

• Fluency in written and spoken English is required; knowledge of French is an added advantage.
