About the Role

SPIDD Africa is seeking motivated and high-performing recent graduates to join its Graduate Trainee Program as Customer Service Officers – Help Desk. This role offers an excellent opportunity to launch a career in IT support and customer service while gaining hands-on experience in enterprise networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and managed services.

As the first point of contact for technical support requests, you will work closely with clients and technical engineers to ensure timely resolution of customer issues while maintaining excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for client technical support requests via email, phone, and social media.

• Log, track, and manage customer support tickets accurately.

• Monitor tickets against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and provide timely updates to clients.

• Liaise with technical engineers to obtain progress updates on support requests.

• Create and manage customer accounts on the ticketing platform.

• Prepare regular reports on help desk performance and service trends.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with strong academic performance.

• Genuine interest in networking, cybersecurity, server infrastructure, cloud computing, or hosting technologies.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.

• No prior work experience is required.
