Housing Finance Bank is seeking a Credit Monitoring Officer to proactively monitor the bank’s credit portfolio, identify early warning signs of default, and ensure compliance with lending policies to maintain portfolio quality and minimize credit losses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor compliance with the bank’s credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and implement early warning tools to identify potential credit risks.

• Ensure securities are properly maintained, insured, and regularly revalued where required.

• Monitor loan covenants, exceptions, deferrals, and expired credit limits.

• Conduct periodic monitoring of construction projects and contract financing.

• Work with credit and relationship teams to implement remedial actions for at-risk accounts.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly credit monitoring reports for senior management.

• Conduct project and client site visits to assess credit performance.

• Support system improvement initiatives within the Credit Department.

• Monitor ESG compliance for approved credit facilities.

• Participate in training business teams on credit monitoring practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Management, or a related field.

• Professional banking or credit risk qualification is an added advantage.

• Minimum 5 years' experience, including at least 2 years in Credit Risk Management.

• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, credit risk principles, AML requirements, and lending practices.

• Excellent analytical, report-writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• High level of integrity and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
