Corporate Sales Representative

Reporting to: Business Partnerships Team Lead / Relevant Manager

Job Summary
SafeBoda is seeking a Corporate Sales Representative to drive business development and client acquisition for its B2B transportation and delivery services. The role involves identifying corporate clients, managing accounts, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction while supporting the company’s mission to provide safe, reliable, and accessible transportation across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
Identify and target potential corporate clients operating in Uganda.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective B2B accounts.
Conduct market research to understand corporate transportation needs.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
Account Management & Relationship Building
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Conduct regular account reviews to ensure client satisfaction.
Manage contract renewals and identify upselling opportunities.
Sales Process & Negotiation
Present transport solutions that address corporate transportation challenges.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and payments.
Product Knowledge & Consultation
Maintain a deep understanding of SafeBoda’s B2B features and services.
Provide consultative selling tailored to each client’s requirements.
Recommend service packages, payment methods, and reporting tools.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in CRM systems.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Market Intelligence & Feedback
Gather market intelligence on pricing, competition, and industry trends.
Provide feedback to product and operations teams on client needs and service improvements.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with Operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
Coordinate with Marketing on corporate-focused campaigns.
Support Customer Success in resolving escalated client issues.
Train corporate clients on platform usage and available features.
Requirements and Skills
Bachelor’s degree or certification in Sales.
Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English and Google Suite.
Knowledge of marketing, negotiation techniques, and CRM systems.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and fast learner.
