On Friday, December 12, 2025, FITSPA convened its 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Protea Hotel, Kololo, a key gathering that brought together the members, Secretariat, and Board of Directors of Uganda’s fintech ecosystem. The AGM provided a critical platform to reflect on the year’s achievements, deliberate on governance matters, and reinforce the shared commitment to advancing Uganda’s fintech industry.

Advancing Governance and Transparency

The AGM featured presentations of reports from the Secretariat and auditors, the appointment of new Board Directors, and discussions on key organizational decisions. For the FITSPA community, the AGM is a vital forum to review annual performance, hold the Board accountable, and ensure transparency in financial reporting, all while strengthening trust, legal compliance, and the organization’s future direction.

FITSPA remains committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, with a focus on good governance, sustainability, and responsible industry growth. As the year closes, the organization looks forward to strengthening collaboration, driving innovation, and advancing financial inclusion across Uganda.
