FITSPA Board Discusses Strategic Priorities for Uganda's Digital Financial Services Sector at its 25th Meeting

FITSPA convened its 25th Board Meeting on 16th July at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel, bringing together members of the Board of Directors to review the Association's strategic priorities and discuss its continued role in advancing Uganda's digital financial services sector.

The meeting was chaired by Vincent Tumwijukye, Board Chairman and Co-Founder & CEO of FutureLink Technologies, and attended by Board Directors Michael Mukasa (Liquid Intelligent Technologies), Benoni Okwenje (Centenary Bank), Kenneth Muhangi (KTA Advocates), Herbert Olowo (Interswitch East Africa), Zianah Nyiramanza Muddu, Team Lead - FITSPA, and the Association's Company Secretary, AF Mpanga Advocates.

The Board reviewed FITSPA's strategic direction and discussed how the Association can contribute more effectively to addressing key industry priorities, including attracting investment, strengthening digital infrastructure, fostering cross-sector partnerships, and enhancing Uganda's global positioning to unlock regional and international opportunities.

The discussions reaffirmed FITSPA's commitment to championing innovation, advocacy, and collaboration while creating greater value for members and supporting the growth of Uganda's digital financial services ecosystem.
