Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and maintaining good professional client relationships to generate and improve CWG’s revenue and profitability. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving the company’s set objectives, maximizing products/solutions’ contribution through exploiting sales and maintaining cost controls.
  • Ensure the sales, turnover, and cost targets in the short, medium and long term, and achieves agreed profit targets.
  • Working with clients’ management teams to understand business strategies. Evaluating those strategies and ensuring CWGs readiness to keep pace with the implementation of new products, solutions, projects, or features consistent with those strategies.
  • Ensure the achievement of the maximum quality of services and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Increasing the revenue opportunity within each client’s business portfolio as it relates to utilizing additional CWG services or product offerings.
  • Responsible for meeting annual revenue target assigned to industry verticals.
  • Develop sales propositions and promotions to the market.
  • Set annual sales budgets and objectives for your verticals.
  • Ensuring a pipeline of X3 of target gap 
  • Inputting all activities in Sales ERP and ensuring proper usage compliance.
  • Assist accounts receivable personnel to ensure that a client’s account is never past due serve as a coordination vehicle for strategic projects as they arise.

  • Inputting all activities in Sales ERP and ensuring proper usage compliance.
  • Assist accounts receivable personnel to ensure that a client’s account is never past due serve as a coordination vehicle for strategic projects as they arise.
  • Establish and coordinate planned visits at the customer location and at CWG.
  • Provide support to additional departments as and when required.
  • Tracking and escalation of client issues. Upholding high standards of service levels.
  • Managing the client billing process.
  • Being the client’s advocate to ensure that all issues and are addressed by CWG and completed by the due date.
  • Inform clients of new services, partnerships, and/or products as they are announced or released.
  • Maximize sales and ensure customer focus is always prioritized.
  • Weekly/daily analysis of business reports and implementation of action plans where necessary.
  • Maintaining an excellent reputation for the brand.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures relating to Work Health & Safety
  • Apart from the above, the precise functions and duties of The Employee may be extended or curtailed by The Company from time to time.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
