Michael is an information Technology professional with more than 15 years in managing large enterprise infrastructure. Michael continues to work with the Uganda Communications Commission, the communications regulatory authority in Uganda with a special focus on providing I.T solutions to support industry regulation and communications infrastructure management.

In the realm of digital transformation, Michael has led a series of projects that use digital technologies to deliver services that are open, inclusive, secure and of benefit to all. This includes supporting his organization to strategically ensure efficient service delivery, regulation and maximizing the benefits, while managing the risks that digital technology introduces. Michael was part of the team that formed the communications sector Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) in 2013 and continues to be active in the cyber-Security space.

Michael holds an MSc Information Systems and Technology from the university of Liverpool (UK), a BSc Computer Science from Makerere University (Uganda) and several I.T certifications.
