Sales Country Manager Job

Role Purpose
This role is responsible for developing new business, whilst also managing and growing existing accounts in a particular country or region. You will also be required to develop relationships with local financial authorities and represents the organization’s best interest in the respective country or region. The Country Manager will grow the business by deeply understanding the markets specific challenges, the key partners that provide solutions within the market and the customers’ challenges.  The role will entail identifying new sales and business development opportunities whilst providing consultative support to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
Accountable for the specific country/regional awareness of how the payments and banking organizations work, including local regulations and partners that affect our business. Local responsibility for developing relationships with local financial authorities, partners and customers/potential customers Proactively creating a pipeline of new business and managing the opportunities through the sales cycle Owning and maintaining long term relationships with our existing customers, building a deep understanding of the client’s objectives, growth plans, challenges and needs to create an Account Development plan that identifies cross sales opportunities Identifying key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships Using Salesforce to ensure that all Account Development Plans, opportunities and key contacts are up to date for the country/region Provide feedback or requirements specific to your market Providing forecasts, risks and opportunities to Management for the Country/Region Build brand awareness through networking and marketing activities to generate new business Maintain an awareness of competitors, their products and relationship within your market and how this effects your customers Ensure market and key regulatory changes are communicated to the relevant internal departments Develop an understanding of the product and service offerings by attending training sessions and reviewing product material and sales collateral Build a pipeline of new business opportunities, identify prospects, follow up leads and convert leads to sales. Manage the pipeline in and provide accurate and timely updates to the Regional Director Match customer needs to product capabilities and develop proposals, working with presales and solution design as required Understanding the challenges of the customer, complete & create proposals using RFPIO Manage the complete sales lifecycle including negotiating with the customers and closing contracts following the Network Way of Selling process(NWoS) Record key interactions, portfolio details and key contacts in Own and maintain an Account Development Plan in to record and share the strategic vision, development strategies to grow the existing account and track the progress Cross sell solutions into existing customers using NwOS Monitor customer net promoter scores and take corrective action as required to maintain customer satisfaction Effectively escalate on the customer’s behalf within the business, and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner Monitor the account’s performance using tools and resource provided. Identify trends and highlight risks to the grow of the account Manage the profitability of the accounts Provide feedback to product development or other departments about local requirements for products as requested Conduct regular progress meetings with the customers and record progress and actionsPerforms other related duties as requested by the company.
Experience / Skills Required
Education Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.   Experience 4+ years of experience in related functions.Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or Country Managerin the payments industry or similar aspects of financial services.Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels.Excellent organisational skills.Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.Strong cultural awareness and knowledge.
